Central Stores
Since 1964, Central Stores has provided commonly used supplies to Multnomah County as well as to other Oregon governmental agencies.
Central Stores operates several supply programs from their warehouse facility. It supports the high volume office supply, janitorial and food supply needs of the County in addition to medical supplies and immunizations used in the provision of health care. There are currently over 1800 standard stock commodities in inventory. Many of these commodities are offered through our online catalog.
Central Stores is part of the Materiel Management section of the CONTRACTS Division, Department of County Assets.
Objectives
Assure accountability for the purchasing, receiving, warehousing, payment and invoicing of all Central Stores inventory owned by Multnomah County. Advise, facilitate and maximize the use and disposition of County excess and surplus equipment and supplies.
