Residential Alcohol Program (RAD)

This 18-bed program provides substance abuse treatment to delinquent youth who are involved in the criminal justice system and who have significant substance abuse issues, have repeatedly failed to complete treatment in the community, continue to display high risk behavior in the community, and are in need of residential treatment.

Eligibility

  • female and male clients ages 14 to 17 (will take clients who are near 18th birthday)
  • Current A&D assessment indicates Level III treatment
  • on probation and supervised by DCJ
  • unsuccessful in community-based treatment
  • medically, cognitively (IQ 75 and up) and psychiatrically able to participate.
  • have at least 1 year of probation supervision remaining

To make a referral, a referral form is completed by the assigned Juvenile Court Counselor.
