Pertussis, a serious illness for infants and young children, is on the rise in Multnomah County. Health officers want you to protect your infant by making sure everyone around them—parents, children, teens and other adults—are up-to-date on their whooping cough vaccine.

Visit our booth at the Portland Pride festival. Multnomah County Health Department will be offering free HIV testing for EVERYONE on both days. For those who qualify, syphilis and/or hepatitis C testing is also available.



School-based health centers summer schedule

School may be out for summer, but from June 25 to August 17 kids can still get health services at the Parkrose High School School-based Health Center. If you have a medical problem over the summer, or need to continue your care, you can get the same services you would as when school is open.

The Northeast Women, Infants and Children (WIC) clinic will be hosting a Summer Activity and Safety Fair the first week of June. Community partners will host tables to promote their programs and to provide families with ideas, resources and opportunities to be active, safe and healthy over the summer.
