About the County Domestic Violence Coordination Office

Domestic Violence Coordination Office

The Multnomah County Domestic Violence Coordinator’s Office (DVCO) acts as a community resource for the prevention of, and intervention in, domestic violence by providing information, consultation, and technical assistance to community groups who want to address this important issue. The coordinator’s office is jointly funded by the county and the City of Portland, and provides consultation to employees of both those organizations.

The coordinator herself is the office’s representative on the Family Violence Coordinating Council, a local coordinating body for domestic violence intervention. Our office does not provide direct client services; view our list of local domestic violence resources for organizations who do.

We thrive on Coordinated Community Responses.  Read about our special projects, or find a staff member.
