November 8, 2011 Special Election Final Results Now Available

The final official election results for the 11/8/2011 Special Election are now available for Multnomah County. The Oregon Secretary of State's office will certify the Special Primary Election for Congressional District 1 on 11/30/2011.

September 8, 2011 is the 1st Day Candidates can file for the May 2012 Primary

What is Redistricting? Redistricting is the process of redrawing electoral district lines following the decennial U.S. Census. The Oregon Legislature is responsible for redistricting the state’s 60 House districts and 30 Senate districts, as well as the five U.S. Congressional districts.
