Brad Perkins – Proven Business and Community Leader

Brad is a recognized leader who has created sustainable jobs in historic preservation, real estate development and food nutrition by owning and operating three small businesses. He founded a number of nonprofits, such as Irvington Farmers Market, Peace Memorial Park Foundation and Cascadia High Speed Rail Advocates.

Sustainable Answers for Stronger Economy

Brad will work hard to ensure Metro meets and exceeds its emission greenhouse gas reduction goals by engaging the renewable energy, technology and transportation industries to provide smart, cost-effective alternatives. He believes in increasing our use of renewable energy resources and creating jobs using collaborative approaches to develop shared solutions, not a top-down, costly one that endangers our ecosystems and our resources.

Putting Communities and Working Families FIRST

A father of three Portland Public Schools graduates, Brad believes in the importance of strong and safe connections among communities, affordable housing, town centers, schools and hospitals to bike/pedestrian, transit and rapid rail corridors. He will continue to advocate for job and vocational training and internship opportunities for high school students.
