Our Mission is to provide quality and cost effective GIS services that maintain the integrity of the environments while providing excellent customer service.

County departments, and other public agencies and organizations in Multnomah County depend on maps and geographic information to support day-to-day operations. Geographic Information supports planning and decision making at all levels of government, as it provides information about a location or an event at a specific location.

The primary work of the Multnomah County GIS office is supporting all levels of government by developing, maintaining and distributing geographic information and the computer systems that manage it.
