HIV Health Services Center
The HIV Health Services Center serves people living with HIV by providing comprehensive and compassionate medical treatment, nursing care and social services. Our services are coordinated with the Health Department’s primary care clinics and HIV and STD programs.

About Your Visit
Patients will see a nurse on their first visit and be assigned a medical provider. Each health care provider takes primary responsibility for his or her patient's care, managing all aspects of a patient's health needs. This care includes:
- HIV and non-HIV related conditions
- Referrals to specialists
- Inpatient care coordinated with the county inpatient team at OHSU
Providers also work with other staff to ensure patients' understanding of their care, health needs and treatments.
Advice Nurse
The advice/triage nurse can provide you with general HIV information, answers questions about medications, laboratory tests or symptoms, or coordinate urgent clinic visits. They are available Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm at 503-988-5020.
Pharmacy
Our clinical pharmacist is available to clients and providers. Our pharmacist can help you:
- Determine the right time to begin HIV medications
- Choose the right HIV medication combination
- Minimize potential of side-effects
- Determine methods to help you keep your medication schedule
- Learn HIV basics and the how, when, why of taking HIV medications

Case Management
In collaboration with the Partnership Project, case managers are available to provide a variety of supportive services, including:
- Insurance assistance
- Housing coordination and evaluation of options
- Assistance in accessing and coordinating mental health and alcohol/drug services
- Information and referral
- Counseling
- Assessment
- Medication
