Multnomah County Library Computer Labs

Multnomah County Library provides its customers with more than 500 computers at its 17 neighborhood locations. In addition, the library provides computer labs at seven of its locations. The lab at North Portland Library has the greatest number of services and hours, but all are equipped with the following:

• One or Two-hour sessions (more if no one is waiting)
• The Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Internet access
• Walk-in sign-up (except North Portland, which accepts reservations)
• Access for all ages unless otherwise noted.

The Central Computer Lab has Publisher as part of its Microsoft Office 2007 suite.

Gresham

• Monday 4-6 p.m.
• Tuesday 4-7 p.m. (Bilingual Spanish & English)
• Lab has 9 computers with floppy/CD drives and USB ports; color & black/white printer.

Hillsdale

• Sunday 2:30-4:30 p.m.
• Lab has 10 computers with floppy/CD drives and USB ports; scanner; black/white printer.

Hollywood

• Saturdays 10 a.m.-noon
• Lab has 9 computers with floppy/CD drives and USB ports; color scanner; black/white printer.

Midland

• Tuesday 5-7:30 p.m. (Trilingual Spanish (5-6), Chinese (6:30-7:30) & English)
• Fridays 2:30-5 p.m. (Bilingual Russian & English)
• Lab has 6 computers with floppy drives and USB ports; scanner; black/white & color printer.

North Portland

• Summer Scheduling Note: Lab is closed Aug. 9-31
• Tuesday noon-4:30 p.m. (Closed first Tuesday of the month.)
• Wednesday noon-3:30 p.m. & 5:30-7:30 p.m. (Bilingual Spanish/English. Una sesión abierta para usar las computadoras y disponer de asistencia en inglés y español. No es necesario inscribirse de antemano.)
• Friday noon-3:30 p.m.
• Saturday 1:30-5:30 p.m.

In addition to Microsoft Office, the North Portland Computer Lab has Publisher, Typing Tutor and Photo Editor. You can make reservations for the lab up to one week in advance. Call 503.988.4810 during lab hours, to reserve lab time at North Portland Library.

Sellwood-Moreland

• Wednesdays 2-4 p.m.
• Lab has 6 laptop computers with CD drives and USB ports.

WorkSource Oregon Centers
