Suicide Prevention and Awareness Trainings for Schools and Communities
QPR© or Question, Persuade, Refer©: QPR is ideal for all community members, including clergy, church personnel and other leaders in the faith community, paraprofessionals, family members or anyone who would like to know more about how to identify a person at risk of suicide and how to help. QPR provides participants with basic skills around knowing how and when to ask if someone is thinking about suicide and what to do next in terms of assistance. 13 trainings have been provided to churches, mentors, senior services staff, health workers and graduate students.
Trainings scheduled upon request. Email: Sonja.firstname.lastname@example.org
