Minority, Women and Emerging Small Business
Multnomah County is committed to providing equal opportunity and encourages Minority, Women and Emerging Small Business (MWESB) firms and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) to compete for contracting opportunities. Periodic workshops and presentations on "How to Do Business with the County" are designed to provide assistance, advice on marketing, and Bid/RFP/Quote procedures. Firms must be certified with the State of Oregon OMWESB to be eligible to get solicitations for Public Works projects under that program. State Certified MWESB firms are included in quotation opportunities and are given fair and equal consideration for contract awards.
