Free Public Cell Phone Recycling at Multnomah County Offices
Multnomah County is protecting the environment by recycling its old cell phones, and now members of the public can do their part too. Cell phone recycling collection boxes have been setup at a number of Multnonah County locations and anyone can bring in their cell phones, batteries and charges to these drop off spots. There is no charge for using the service thanks to the County's partnership with The Wireless Alliance, and you can be sure that the equipment will be responsibly re-used or recycled.
Public collection sites are located at all Multnomah County Library locations, for a list of hours and addresses click here.
