Transportation Planning
Transportation Planning manages the development of plans to address all modes of transportation at both the local and regional level; develops the County's Transportation Capital Improvement Plan and Program; reviews development proposals; and develops and secures funds for capital, maintenance and preservation of the transportation system.
Transportation Planning also directly supports the County's road and bridge engineering, maintenance and operations and capital program; and the bicycle and pedestrian program. Transportation Planning participates in regional and local transportation planning, serving as technical adviser to many committees supporting the County's interests.
